Yesterday.
I worked at RHC in the morning and then I went to my office.
A little boy of about 9, told me he was going to be sick, he thinks. He had already thrown up a little in the cup of water that was given to him by my co-worker. I pointed him to the bathroom 5 feet away.
Instead of going, he just vommitted all over the floor, right in front of me. Luckily it didn't get on me, but needless to say it was pretty awful.
I didn't have to clean it up.
Nor did I have to clean up the vomit from the baby earlier in the week who had drank milk all day even though he had a fever and he threw up all over the hallway, next to my work-area. And it smelled awful.
My favorite camper got hurt at camp today and I felt so horrible because it was on my watch. She was fine, but I felt really guilty. So I held her for a while and she cried. Then she wanted to wash her hands, and grin at me, oh kids.
